About Us
We began business in the late 1960s as part of Ronald Kenyon Construction Company, which later became Iowa Road Builders. The company sold to Robert Horner in the early 1980s and continued to grow throughout 90s. In 2001, Des Moines Asphalt and Paving became part of CRH, the leading vertically integrated supplier of aggregates, asphalt, and paving services in the United States. Throughout the years, our crews have completed a wide variety of projects including: highway and street paving, commercial paving projects, parking lot construction, custom asphalt milling, and chip sealing.
